Doug Mills, DVM
Dr. Doug Mills received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 1987. After working as an associate Veterinarian in Colorado, Arizona and Georgia, he relocated to Meridian in December 2006. With the dream to open his own practice, he did volunteer work at the Idaho Humane Society and worked as an associate veterinarian at a hospital in Nampa while Settlers Park Veterinary Hospital was built, and then opened in 2009.
He was born in Littleton, CO and raised in Woodland Park, CO. His interests are primarily in small animal medicine and surgery of companion animals. His personal interests include hiking, golfing, and biking, along with taking his Golden Retriever named Feather and Australian Shepherd named Georgia to the park for exercise and fun. Feather and Georgia come to work with him every day, and his cat Tink lives at the hospital.
